KOP lays out the real argument that validates WWE’s reasons in their own corporate way why they are operating things the way they want to.  Plus, KOP goes back to Scarlett Harris and another Paste magazine article that this time KOP agrees with regarding GLOW and the WWE Women’s division.

WWE OffSeason Plans… Holding Pattern to Summerslam

WWE OffSeason Plans this year I predict will be a Holding Pattern to Summerslam when several notable WWE Superstars are set to return in time for the big summer event.

Summerslam will be the next event that WWE will put some sub-par creative focus on some feuds and storylines. But that focus and effort is 4 months away.

In the meantime, Payback (May 1st) looks to feature some experimental matchups posing some of the recently debuted Superstars in championship matches. Then, Extreme Rules (May 8th) and Money in the Bank (June 19th) will keep the WWE Universe distracted by the smoke and mirrors of gimmicks and stipulation-laden matches.

WWE Offseason

There is nothing in the current WWE machine that compels them to make any wholesale changes to the  RAW and Smackdown programs. For now, Roman Reigns taking on the likes of AJ Styles will satisfy the IWC added with some fresh matchups like Enzo and Cass vs the Dudley Boyz along a couple of resurrected NXT feuds (Charlotte vs. Natalya and Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens).

The midcard titles are in the air without any new feuds in play. Kalisto, The Miz and The New Days all are left without any contenders. Yes, the Miz has been working a program currently with Zack Ryder but I believe that feud will be short-lived.

Once Summerslam nears , the WWE’s more prominent Superstars like John Cena, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins will take their places back on the card and until then WWE will remain status quo to the IWC’s disappointment. -KOP

WWE OffSeason Panic Button Pushed Twice Post-SummerSlam for Short Term Fix

WWE OffSeason Panic Button Pushed Twice Post-SummerSlam for Short Term Fix as Sting and the Dudley Boyz return in the short term to help WWE while the company continues to avoid building on long-term star power. Plus, we look at the poor fallouts of Jon Stewart’s interference in the the World Title match and an absent Undertaker not present to confront Brock Lesnar following the controversial finish of main event match.

Also, we discuss ROH going back on traditional PPV with All Star Extravaganza and TNA Turmoil continues with a pathetically-booked Turning Point.
